After a long night of making love, he notices a photo of another man on
her night stand by the bed. He begins to worry.
"Is this your husband?" he nervously asks.
"No, silly," she replies, snuggling up to him.
"Your boyfriend, then?" he continues.
"No, not at all," she says, nibbling away at his ear.
"Is it your dad or your brother?" he inquires, hoping to be reassured.

"No, no, no!!!" she answers!
"Well, who in the hell is he, then?" he demands.

Good one Steve. I guess he knows now he asked "one" to many questions. :)

Morning all, well I'm off from work for three whole days! And I'm glad. Got a lot of grass to cut, lots of "honey do's". Hope to work on the "train house" some also. Well I guess I better get started so I get something done before the ALABAMA GAME......ROLL TIDE ROLL.

Stan.

Morning Fergie, welcome home sir. Morning guys, just a cup of coffee for me Miss Flo,I have a little lawn work to do today.Thankfully it will be a little cooler outside. I haven't much planned for this week-end, might try to get a little rest in,but not much else. I hope everyone has nice week-end.:) .William.

Good Morning All

I'm still suffering from jet lag and 24 hrs of light a day syndrome, In other words I don't know if I'm holed, bored, punched or drilled!

Not much on the MR got done whule at sea this month as it was a very hectic cycle. 2 1/2 weeks of Hydrography in Hudson's Bay, 4 day transit o Lancaster Sound (North West Passage) to offload gear then off to Croker Bay then to Dundas Hbr to replenish/support Naval Ops and then off to support another Icebreaker who was having propulsion problems In the Beaufort Sea and back to Nanasivik to Load Cargo and finally to Kugaaruk to deliver the Cargo. Saw a lt of interesting things this trip and will dump my shots onto Webshots site within the near future.

On the home front the boys cut the lawn (with a push mower, unfortunately the wheel heights were askew as one was set at an inch the other 2", really interesting patterns in the lawn let me tell ya) Dad and Lisa landed up in the hospital on seperate occassions as Dad had more heart issues and Lisa fell down the stairs breaking her wrist. And of course I don't find out about these things until after the fact!

So how was everyone elses month?

Fergie

Fergie first of all hope Dad and Lisa are on the mend quickly, secondly, get the lawn cut it looks a mess, welcome home.

William and Stan you can cut my lawn if you want while your at it, mind you it's underwater at present.

If you drink beer look at this, it's a condition that affects drinkers

Mornin' Bill! Flo, keep the coffee on, I'm going to need a few extra cups today.

Fergie, Hope that your Dad and Lisa are both doing better and that all is well. If it were me, I would keep the wheel arangement on the push mower as it is and see how many neighbors copy you........ :D Sorry! You know I like lawn jokes.

The remnants of Ernesto are passing through here today. The weather service has downgraded the forcast to only getting an inch or so of rain today and another inch tonight. Last night they were calling for the possibility of 4 inches today and tonight. With that in mind I invited my Son and his wife over for a picnic supper tonight. I think we will be picnicing around the dining room table. LOL

Ray i think we got some of Ernesto today, i found a puddle in the garage and when i looked up, oh dear, a leaking roof.

Good Morning everyone.Just made it Walked to the outdoor market with umbrella over head Ernesto is pouring down on us as I type. Hopefully he'll pass and give us a partly nice Labor Day Weekend . OLDGETTYSK

Hello everyone, next round on me.
Things are really busy around here with 92,000+ football fans scurring about. The airport is filling up fast with private and corporate jets flying in at 'Heathrow Int'l' regularity. Part of this weekend's excitement is the opening of the new addition to Alabama's football stadium which added 10,000 more seats and also the complete refurbishing of the stadium. We locals have learned to cope with this flood of excited fans: Shop the day before...then stay home!:D

My son-in-law came in Thursday night from Houston for the game. He delivered our new pop-up camper, stayed the night, and headed out to meet with his fellow Bama Alumni. Now the boss lady is chomping at the bit to go camping. Guess we will headout in a few weeks for four or five nights.

Fergie: Welcome back! You seemed to have been very busy this trip. Sorry to hear of your Dad and Lisa's ailments. Hope both have recovered. Yeah, you need to do something about your lawn. I just checked it out on Google Satellite and ...YUK!

Ray: Thanks for the photo shot and glad it worked out for you. I don't dare post a photo from under my benchwork:o :D :D

KenL: Hope your ore ship didn't float off.

Eric/Ray/Steve/William: Lawn cutting? I wish I had that problem! I can barely keep mine alive.

Just got in from more steam train watching or should it be chasing,,, it was a race for certain, we got to our spot, opened the car door and what's that i hear,,, yes a very fast moving steam train running very early so off we ran up the track to the bridge just in time to see it go racing under the bridge, got a great sniff of steam and coal, fantastic,,, better than any womans perfume,, LOL imagine if they could bottle that smell, it would drive any man wild. Rex i think the grass grew 2" today

More Power!!! Fathers Day here today, I got me a chain saw!!! Oh here we go we'll have no trees left soon. Lots of trimming to do and it's a beautiful day, so catch ya'll later.

Ken.

Ken Mhave fun with the saw Ken, have you got some leg and face protection there bad suckers when they bite back

Morning Bill. Them doughnuts LOOK mighty good. Morning Rex. The lawn work I did earned me nice spending money, you know to offset the empty wallet disease. Today,I'll be helping my dad do some work in his yard, and who knows, maybe score some more money.:) . BTW,how's the layout? Also,ROLL TIDE. AWESOME WIN. William.

Ah-hmm, uh, well Bama won 25-17. It wasn't very pretty though and we almost gave the game to Hawaii. Bama is a young team having lost many starting players to graduations, but has plenty of outstanding talent that didn't show-up to play. All you can say is, "It's a win."

New end zone section of stadium. 7th largest stadium in the country, 5th largest on a campus. My son-in-law sit in this section and said he was so high up that he couldn't even hear the crowd below. Ha!
