Good Christmas Eve Morning to everyone,
I haven't been stopping in lately so figured I'd better pop in and say Hi!

Hope everyone has a Great Christmas!

Afternoon, everyone.

I guess it's almost Christmas Day across the pond so a big Merry Christmas to Steve, Andrew, Ronzr, and anyone else I may have forgotten over there.

I hope all the snow and ice doesn't mess up too many Christmas plans up north. At least is sounds like Santa will have plenty of snow covered roofs to land on. :)

Chris, that video is disgusting. Thugs don't take time off for the holidays. Too bad the clerks weren't armed. I guess Florida will become like California, where all the convienience stores have the clerks inside bulletproof cages.

Our low was 49, which occured at 2 am. Since then, the temperature has been going up along with the humidity. It's 69 now and cloudy. Looks like Donner and Blitzen will have to use their thunderstorm evading capabilities tonight since there's a pretty good line of storms forming to our west.

I hope everyone has a Merry and Peaceful Christmas.

Those crooks were lucky! Most convienience store owners and workers are armed to the teeth and will chase you down firing! Just that store owner was a nice guy! Too Nice:( and some store do have the glass too, either way there are a lot of good people and some bad!:(

Have a Merry Christmas Everyone!

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Got the rest of my shopping done today. Spent 70 at Home Depot. 3 cheapo 10 dollar gifts for the family gift exchange and 40 for a giftcard for my dad, on top of the 70 dollar battery I got for his drill.

Would you believe, it's 75 degrees here and feeling like 78. Rain looks to be about 2 hours out and we should get a soaker.

We, I have one celebration behind us. One more tonight. The wife works tomorrow, so guess we will open our presents tonight. :)

May your Christmas stockings be filled with gifts of LOVE and JOY!

Merry Christmas!
REX and CAROLYN

Well, it's been a tough day. It's a day of mixed blessings.

See, I left work around 2pm to go have lunch with my family and my Grandpa. We had a great time at a local japanese steakhouse. After lunch we all went back to my in-laws to have desert. Grandpa headed to the downstairs bathroom while someone else headed to the upstairs one. We didn't notice, but after about ten minutes we hadn't seen grandpa and so we decided to check on him.

He left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior at around 4pm today. He was 87 years old.

He is survived by three of his five children.

He was a World War II veteren. He was a ball turret gunner on a B-17 flying over Germany. He was shot down twice. The first time he spent three weeks behind enemy lines until he snuck out of Germany. The second time he was captured and spent two years in a German concentration camp. As the war was ending the Germans marched 20,000 prisoners around what was left of Germany, shooting 1000 prisoners a day and forcing the rest to march on. When he was liberated there were only 2000 prisoners left. The war had officially ended 4 days earlier. He rarely talked about it, but when he did, you were literally rivited to the seat.

When he returned stateside he became a handyman and raised a large family. His wife, whom he married after knowing only three days and married right before he was shipped off to war, went to be with the Lord almost 20 years ago.

We all rejoice in the fact that he knew the Lord as his personal Savior and is now with Him, but we are deeply saddened by the fact that he will be greatly missed here on earth.

William Earl Ogle was one of the finest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Here's to you Grandpa................

Sorry for being such a downer, but I just had to get this off of my chest.

Good evening everyone and a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

This is the first time of been on here today. When I first got up this morning, I discovered I had a whopping case of stomach flu! It's pretty much left me bedridden all day - and I never did get those presents giftwrapped like I'd planned :( Oh well I think they'll understand...

I need to crawl back into bed now. The rest of the family is at Christmas Eve Mass, I had to skip it for obvious reasons.

Phillip, my condolences. Your grandfather sounds like the type of guy they don't much of any longer. As you say, he has now gone to a better place for his final reward but those of you left behind will still miss him. You now have another angel watching over you from Heaven.

Steve, sorry to hear you have the bug that seems to be striking everyone in the East. Drink lots of fluids and I hope you can crawl out of bed tomorrow for a little Christmas cheer.

Ken, that sure is a petty excuse to use getting out of wrapping presents. Jeeze! I could have thought of something better than that....now that I think about it....why didn't I. LOL :D :D Merry Christmas Friend!

Hey Steve, Andrew, Ronzr! You should almost be out of bed by now (particularly with kids :D). What did you get for Christmas?

Hey gang Can't sleep:( This upper resp.problem has got me up:(! This thing is kicking my butt and won't stop. My Dr. says I have Acute Bronchitis.... I say walking phnomonia! I just got up with a headache and a slight temp of 100* and breathing is a little tough. My coughing has slowed but still in pain from all of it. I lost my voice all day yesterday and still can't talk, I sound like Mickey mouse:( The Cough surip with codine ain't helping me to sleep any more and don't seem to be helping with the pain:( I'll give it until after christmas at the in-laws if I don't feel better ...then on the way home to the Hospital I go:(:(:( I'm going to see if I can scroung something to ease the pain..........G,nite.

Merry Christmas from the east coast, home of the FCSME's Mt. Airy & Western Railroad!:D

Steve, you have my deepest sympathies on the passing of your Grandpa. My prayers are with you and your family.

Ken, Getting out of wrapping presents and Christmas mass? You better not get caught taking any "unauthorized" trips to the layout room. :o Speaking about that room. You are going to fog it with some Lysol I hope. ;) Rumor has it that those little germies can cause derailments, and Kato 6 axle units are especially prone to it!
