Looks to be somewhere between 18" and 24" gauge.

I think you could run one on about a 3" radius. Don't know how you'd ever get anything to stay coupled on anything but straight track.

You could always add another link to compensate for the overhang.

For the challenge is one thing; but, I don't model the Chinese railway; so, why would I model that locomotive?
