I recently downloaded xtraccad for Mac and am learning how to use it. I am trying to test print a plan and cannot get it to print. I am following all the steps but when I hit print it does nothing. Can any of you Mac guys out there give me some help? thanks

Hmm, there should be an option to save the file as .bmp or .jpg

Either that, or try an option to export the file to a .bmp or .jpg. It should be all from the File menu.

Then view the file, I don't know what Mac uses for that. And then print from there.

On the PC version, unless you choose snap shot, you have to set scale, width, and height. I don't know if the Mac version has it but the best choice is snapshot. This will print the plan onto a single piece of paper. I never could get that scale, width, height option to work except when printing full size.

I have tried just about everything. Even snapshot. I hit the print button and iget a box asking me to select a file. It never start s to print. the version I have is called x11 which I am pretty sure is the mac version. I do not know what else to try .

I believe that there is a Yahoo discussion group on Xtrkcad. They would probably be the best bet for an answer. Sorry I can't give more help. I haven't used a Mac in many, many years.

Well since you haven't said it, check to see if your printer works

I'm not a Mac guy but, steve jobs answer to every Mac problem is to shutdown and restart, you can try that if you wish
