What about a Gold/Silver Mining operation shipping ore down to the docks? Small Pit Mine type scene, with ore crusher/ stamp mill? Then off to the docks?

Rather than docks, have ore go to smelter. On other hand, I like the idea of the Black Gold myself. Tired of all the coal mining scenes. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Good luck.

As everyone else is saying I think a Black gold scene would be cool. Also when I use to haul wood chips to Pa. I would bring back stone from the quarry. As a suggestion you could do a big stone quarry pit or even a Marble or granite. or a salt mine. anyway I like the Black gold suggestion.

Just got out of the hospital a couple of hours ago. Inner ear infection through off my balance and sent my room spinning. Went to the ER and they kept me over night last night. Okay now. Jim

I had labyrinthitis once. That sucks. It's like having the bed spins, only without the drinking part. Took nearly two weeks to get things going back to normal. Hope yours wasn't that bad and goes away quickly.

I had Semicircular Canal Dehisence Syndrome which required surgery on the middle ear. Took a full week before the room stopped spinning (and I could hold food down). No fun.
