I have five of the six lights hooked up. LED's use so little power that I think these two batteries will last a year in my layout room! The real question should be will the layout last longer than the batteries. Jim:p

This is the LAST layout isn't it? Truly? Or are you gon'na be like a rock band (fits that, somehow, don't it) and do comeback tours?

Ha, ha. But yes, I'm pretty sure this is it. I hate seeing these rockers croak out a tune thirty years after their hayday. Sad to me to see it. Myself, I still have the skills, but because of my back issues I just don't have the drive to put out more than this one. I'm starting a new drug tomorrow so we shall see. Jim :)

Soldered together three sections of ME flex track just now. Crappy job if I say so myself! I was never great at soldering, but this is not good. Another Dremel tool job in wings. Jim:eek:

toot, funny actually. I took my pill (cymbalta here) at 1730 and now at 1900 I feel 40% less pain! Miracle! I'll see how tomorrow goes and side effects this weekend, but for now I feel great. Jim:o

RR, that is 'news' to me! While I was never a drug guy I can say this morning that I feel a bit 'different.'

Toot, I'm no singer but I could live with some diamonds! Jim

Thanks guys, seems I'm bit more loopy than usual, but it is still early days on this med.

Moving on to the layout. If you all remember I said once that I didn't finish the sides because of reach issues well here is a photo of an area left unfinished.

I will build up some rock spires on the white space on the edge. The track is soldered but not glued down in this photo. The camera rests on a hill built on purpose for this scene down the track and creek. I think it will be really nice. I will get to these rocks shortly and use this area for "rock class." Jim:)

Looking good , I like the little shacks you lit up. Nice job on the rail , can't stand straight rail. Is there a bridge coming up soon under that rail?

Most excellent scenery! Chronic pain IS a pain! LOL! Srysly, I'KNOW what it's like, had it since the last week of April 1988! Sometimes drugs can be a good thing, just don't let em 'rule' ya! I go at em on an 'as needed' basis, meditation helps, really. Anything to keep away the 'loggy' feeling the pills bring. THATS like living underwater! I lost ten years in a chemical haze from the helpful folks at BIG PHARMA!

MR113, Thank you, I happy you like what you see.

New Guy, Thank you. I'm now on pill #3 and feel much better. I'm not a pill taker by nature, but at this stage I'm doing what my doctors say. One great thing about the internet is we are able to check facts and see if these docs really do know something. Love your avatar by the way. Dan George and Clint were great in Josey Wales. Jim :)
