If you're looking for a project, I've got a soft spot for Doodlebugs. I'm not sure what you're planning, but it seems to me that they have a wide range of uses on different layouts.
Another reason not to have any projects right now. I was playing softball and collided with an opposing play and had my little finger on my right hand nearly dislocated. The finger bent out at a 45 degree angle but did not dislocate. In the picture below you will notice that my whole hand is swollen and my knuckles have disappeared! Jim
And they say playing sports keeps you healthy . Reminds me of one of the places I worked at, they had a social rugby team that played other like teams on Sundays. Come Monday there were the walking wounded and sometimes the no-shows. Might have been good for bonding, but productivity also took a hit.
No, not a big following for sure. In '65 we were just starting out in Portland, OR. Rugby Union has sure changed through the years. I'm able to get UK rugby every season here on the tv. Jim
My knuckles are reappearing. That is the good news. With swelling going down, my little finger is getting more and more painful. Where my waaaambulance? Jim
Dan, Not really. Woke up yesterday morning with an injury to my external oblique muscle. More pain than someone deserves! Your obliques are our 'love handles.' I tried to sleep most of today. Jim
I don't hurt myself on purpose, trust me. No softball again tomorrow! I still have my finger injury that makes swing a bat difficult.
I am gathering wood for the new layout. I'm going to put casters on the legs this time and see how that works out. I figure they may come in handy for photography. Jim
Louis, More like score keeper actually. In fact once I get on base I'm usually run for. Don't know where my legs went the last few years. Our fasted guy in the league is over 80! Jim
Don, Yes, 4'x6' table top. But this will not be your average table top layout. I will attempt something special to show what may be accomplished on a flat surface. I should begin just after Labor Day. Primary scale will be On30 with the capability of running HO as well. Jim
