Your thread title says OM!.
What is that refering to?

Ken, it's supposed to be OMI drive. I hit the exclamation point instead of the I. I tried to change it but didn't know how. Overland Models Inc, a now defunct brass model maker, made drives for plastic shells several years ago! They had brass trucks, a motor and gearboxes. Their later drives came with brass fuel tanks as does mine. The drive I used was for a RPP C40-8 shell. With a little modification it fit the Athearn AC4400 shell. This model represents one of the three demonstrators UP received from GE.

OK, the main confusion was the OM!. I thought it might be OMI but your subsequent posts seemed to miss it.
Yeah, I have numerous brass chassis too that I've fitted Athearn shells to. They do look good.

I suspected that was the rub, but better to much than not enough, thanks!
