Finally got to start laying some track . Have not done any wiring yet , just pushing the car to see that no obvious problems exist . It is nice to be doing something that the trains can actually roll on .

I think it will work well for me . I plan to be able to work the yard while another train does continuous running so I can work and railfan at the same time .

the bottom layer of OSB is for support/structural and the top layer is homasote for ease and holding power of track spikes . Actually the entire layout is this way .

It looks to me like PSXXs circuit breakers from DCC Specialties.

Those are the NCE EB-1 circuit breakers . I am dividing the layout into 4 separate power districts , I guess I should have mentioned that in the original post .

Well I got some more roadbed and track down and was able to do some buss wiring work.

On the last image (4890) there are 2 open spaces and I think I will build up flat areas at track height and build some non-railroad serviced scenes.

I finished laying the entire mainline and what I am calling my switch loop . After a good cleaning it is on to wiring!!!

That is the diagram I keep finding , which has 3 ports on the front , but what I have has 4 ports and I cant seem to find a diagram of that .

That's looking really good. You probably were not going to do this, but don't throw any of that cut Homosote away. You never know when you might want to add trackside scenery at a later date.

I'm sure glad I saved all the wood I cut out of mine. It has come in handy on several occasions. It sure eliminates a lot of measuring and trying to match the existing cut.

I wish I knew what I wanted to do for scenery when I started my layout; I might have left a lot of the plywood intact instead of just cutting the plywood for track only.

With the size of your layout, you might want to number each piece and the corresponding area it came from. Probably save a lot of searching down the line.
