Atlas says Dec 2013 but I will believe it when I see it, lol I have had these locos on preorder for over 2 years.
 


I am sure you are aware, but Atlas and many others are paying the price for doing business with the Chinese. Many are in court for counterfeit of intellectual property, duplicating dies/molds, sells of product against contractural agreements, and the list goes on. This has disrupted the supply-chain on many production lines of several vendors. Until these litigations are over, I am sure we will all see shortages.
 
on that venue wonder when the "new" run of MTH big boys is due , june 2011 was the target or when i preordered one .... then it was oct .... then spring 2012 then 2013 ......................... :confused:

Another lawsuit involving making copies, "counterfeits", and other mysteries!! Are you sure mike isn't behind it???;)
 
The Chinese counterfeit everything from us. Computer Software, Operating Systems. Golf clubs. The list is endless. Apparantly they can't produce things by themselves, so they steal from others.

They even farm gold illegally in Ghana!
 
G'day all , Sad isn't it...wouldn't mind betting that ALL of us wouldn't care paying a few extra bucks for our items if they were made in the USA or in my case Australia.
To have manufacturing go offshore must have an impact...I have one three year old Atlas Dash 8 and she's a nice piece of equipment but to have to wait for the time periods you mention would put me off I'm afraid...Long live local manufacturing I say.... Cheers Rod..
