Hi... I'm not new to this forum, I've been around for 5 years now, but I'm a senior n scale modeler in Sacramento interested in modular n scale, specifically Kato-based T-Trak. I'm wondering if there are others lurking out there in Sacramento and local environs as well. It seems our railroad town is a bit of a desert in this regard, as the only organization currently with any T-Trak association at all has a high price of admission ($26 plus per month) and when I visited with them T-Trak did not seem to be their highest priority.
Sacramento is hosting The N Scale Enthusiast organization's annual national convention for a week next June of 2027. My goal is to have a modular T-Trak layout established for display at the convention, if not sooner. I personally have 2 modules under construction, a single and a standard corner, building them to strict T-Trak standards, industrial scenery.
At this point I guess I'm trying to gauge interest, to see if there are enough individuals to put together a layout. I haven't even thought about any type of organization or framework, not sure I'm the best one for that. But if there are others out there, please give a shout, would be happy to hear your advice. I will probably ask Michael at Roseville Hobbies if I can post a small sign on his window and print some fliers if this proceeds.
