Since I got interested in the MRL (and have some coming), a good number of my locos need changing ( AC6000, SD70Ace, ES44AC, 3xGP38-2's, all UP except 1 GP in C&NW, GP15 in SF/SP merger, maybe a couple of FP45's (MRL has F45's)). Annoying part is, all but the C&NW were bought while the $AUD was going gangbusters between $1.02- 1.06 against the $USD and the saving was more than paying the postage most times. (now it's hovering around .88-.90c, a whacking difference) I want to do most of course in MRL but the AC6000 and ES44AC in BNSF. A pain because they were/are available in those roads at the time. The MRL is relatively simple but BNSF more complex. Could sell them and buy more, but that blows the advantage gained. So to bite the bullet and get an airbrush I guess. Luckily I do have spray-painting experience but not just as small, decalling is what scares me.
