Airbrushing poly fiber

Anybody ever airbrushed Poly fiber. Not talking about woodland scenic fiber, but regular white poly fiber. I want some that's a brown or gray color to fill out some trees I'm making.

I'm really into airbrushing, but I think I'd use a rattle can on polyfiber

rattle can here for making puff ball trees,I tried using rite dye but didn't work to well.
