Adding sound to buildings?

Does anybody know of source of sound files for things like a freight depot, machine shop, farmyard, etc.?

I want to add sound to my buildings because I like my freight depot noises coming from my freight depot, not my locomotive I have figured out all the mechanical and electronic elements in order to place a small speaker inside a building and hook it up to a small mp3 player (DFplayer Mini, for those interested) controlled by an Arduino.

All I need now are some decent sound files in MP3 format (or a format that can be converted, which is basically any mainstream sound format). I have not been successful yet in finding more than a couple of short industrial noises so far. Any pointers much appreciated. (My last resort will be pointing a microphone at my locos and "borrowing" the vendors' sounds...).

Picture below of my breadboard prototype for those curious. DFplayer on the middle left, speaker on the middle right, Arduino bottom left (optional, but adds more versatile control), Roku remote repurposed for remote control of the Arduino top left, teabag (optional but recommended) top right.

Use Google or any other search engine for "downloadable industrial sounds". Numerous sites out there, although the sound files are somewhat short on the few that I checked out. But you can always use a sound editing program to mesh several together and make a longer file.

That was my thought too, but I'm not having much luck (other than the BBC site which is pretty good.)
