I have an extensive HO layout. Mostly a city scene. I would like to introduce lighting to my layout. Any information and advice would be appreciated.

I use the Woodland Scenics “just plug” system.
It’s a bit more pricey than making your own wiring and LED’s but very simple and quick.
It also has some pretty nifty options for different effects.
I added some led streetlights from a different mfg, works just fine.

I am looking more for how someone places lights in buildings. I plan on connecting several buildings to a wired hub underneath my layout. What kind of lights do people use? What type of connectors? Where can I purchase them?
