Add stripes or leave it as is

I've been debating this for nearly a year. After I painted the loco and added the details and painted those, I said to myself "F!, i should've done the stripes!". But I do want to get some opinions as Im kinda torn now, do I leave it alone as is? Add the white and black zebra stripes to the whole front nose/pilot/plow or just the lower pilot/plow like on some of the original LV Geeps?

I believe I have a full sheet of zebra stripe decals. If so i'de remove all the grabs from the nose, mu hoses and plow from the pilot. I would then spray those black and then lay down the stripes and then re-do the details.

Oh and I have the decal sheet that has the yellow stripe that would go along the entire length of long hood and cab. Keep forgetting to add it on.

I vote to add the lower stripes to give it some extra contrast. My .02

I'd go with the lower stripes as well. But they would only go one the pilot, and not the plow. That will have to be removed to put the strips on.

It really is a case of personal choice, I personally prefer the full zebra stripe, but as I said, it's personal choice.. Go with what ever your comfortable with...

when looking at the pics, i didn't notice at first that the stripes on the pilot only shot are diagnol. not sure i like that. we'll see.

I think the locomotive looks great as is. Focus on finishing that bridge
If you really want to add some stripes, I like the plow stripes. It would save you from having to remove/replace, and probably repaint, the grab irons.

Im going to add the yellow stripe that runs along the sides and see how that looks. Then i'll stand back and look it up and down and figure it out.
