Someone who knows about electric locomotives models exist in USA? ... From the 90s onwards.
Ask for material, since I have not found much searching.

You are not finding much because there aren't many electrics in the US. The Acela in the NE US is the only one I'm aware of for passengers and I'm not aware of ANY freight. At one time there were a number of electrics........Milwaukee Road, Pennsylvania, and several others ran both frieght and passenger trains with electric power, but they were all gone by your 1990 starting date.
