Hi

* Got them out with hopes of seeing picture of parts in the trays nice and neat.No dice on that.

* Parents did good getting me an Erector set instead of this when I was about 8.This kit is very involved.For an older kid.

*Ours appears to be a The Constructioneer Set #8 It is Girder & Panel and Bridge and Highway combined

*Thank you for the pictures.We get the idea how to put parts away.The motor unit and elevator stayed in their compartments so that helped.

* Have not run across the Confederate flag in our kit yet.:)

A seller in new Jersey posted a #8 Constructioneer set for sale on Facebook Marketplace and included this photo. Of course that doesn't mean that's how the manufacturer packed the product.

* All the compartments in left column are motor,elevator and battery box.

* The Masonite foundation base is set to the side.The manual says there are 3 foundation sizes.We seem to have the middle one.

* The bag of girders is not in picture either.The note says which parts are broken and that a couple parts are missing.

* This is two kits in one.The Girder & Panel kit seems to be the highrise pictured on left sidebar of the lid.

Then the other kit is Bridge and Turnpike.Turnpike is an East Coast word.The Turnpike is basically the road sections.

* The cars and tractor trailer in picture are NOT includes.A little tacky.They do tell you to go get your own HO scale ones.

That is okay.This is a great kit!

The cars and tractor trailer shown on the box of your set are diecast metal. The longer plastic road sections likely wouldn't support the weight of one without support in the middle. The cars on the box cover are early Matchbox cars offered in the 50's (Austin A50, Vauxhall Cresta, and Hillman Minx). The Ford cabover tractor and trailer are from Penn Line.

* It is coming into focus now mostly.

Couple notes about this:

* Foundation base is 15 3/4" x 13" Little over 1/4" thick Masonite Painted paintbox or ping pong table green

* The Girder & Panel part of the kit is this: Building with elevator.That is what they creatively call it on cover of box.

Now this is a 'Motorized' kit.There may be basic Girder & Panel kits with no motor parts.Seems like there would be.

I was lucky enough to find the large Number 8 kit under the Christmas tree one year. At some point components became part of my HO layout. The beams would still make a great building under construction 🏗️
