If you're up in SD around Hill City, go see the 1880 Train Museum. Not a big place but lots to see. We didn't ride the train this time but we still have 3 days here so maybe.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the locomotives, buildings, and other things they have there. They also have a HO scale layout in the museum, but it's seen better days but hey, it's fun to see trains run anyway. Took a lot of pictures of the layout for future project builds and maybe give someone else some ideas. I also took some pictures of a switch stand and the linkage so if anyone wanted to model something like that feel free to take the pictures.

I had fun there and hey sometimes made a fool out of myself but that's part of the fun. Enjoy the pictures.

If I could find a caboose like this I would buy it. Don't know where I would put it but it would make a great layout room or at least a very nice model workshop.
