Yeah, well my store they dropped to $1, but farther out stores (Kingman AZ, and Moreno Valley CA), still full price, full stock.

Hmm, well, maybe this is just an Alabama trend. What say you, ARG? Are you still finding the Malibu vehicles in your Walmart or am I the only unlucky one?

Jim- I have been to 4 of the Birmingham are stores in the last two weeks.
Two stores are completely out of the single 1/87 Malibu vehicles.
Three stores have the 5 packs at $5.00 and one is reducing these packs to $3.00 each.
The 1/87 car/trailer combos are still regular price in 3 stores and reduced to $2.50 at one store.

I have been expending a few dollars as I find the 1950's vehicles at reduced prices. I have 11 yellow and white '55 Chevys. Anyone know where I can get HO Yellow Cab decals?

I don't think they will be in Walmarts around here at Christmas time.

I have a red & black 55 Chevy, a red & white 55, yellow & white 55's, blue & white 55's & 1 complete red one. Someone told me 1 day at WM that they didn't make a red & black one. I must have the only one. How many 47 VW's do you have in the 5 diff. colors?

Larry- I am going to have to count all the cars I have hidden in an old chest where they are "outa sight" in case the CFO visits my train room.
I think I have 3 of the VWs, one with trailer.
I'm going to take most of the trailers and put in a trailer factory on a siding. I need to see how many trailers will fit on a flatcar.

Rail Trucks

Made this truck using Hotwheels cast body & powered underframe from an oversized Bachmann pickup truck.

They are HO,they are by NORSCOT.The rigs as you see them were $19.99 each which to my way of thinking is a fair price for what you are getting

I already have another yellow tractor to replace that sexy black one which I have other plans for. :D

Guess What?
Found some new 1/87th vehicles today at a WM.
Speed Racer cars. Nice looking vehicles, but not for my layout. Maybe something for the more Modern than mine.

I was looking at vehicles on line today and found most of the Malibu vehicles that were at my WM on the site with Model Power labels at about $5.00 each.
I guess I can thin out my collection at the next train show if I want to get a table.

Was in my local WM yesterday & they had the new line of Matchbox cars & trucks. Got a real nice farm tractor & according to the back of the card on the blister pack they also have out some more farm utensils that hook up to that tractor. Didn't find any yet.

I checked the local Wall-Mart after reading this, and no joy. They don't have any and don't think they ever did. I would not have mind a few VW :)

Maybe it a Canada thing. Being out west doesn't help, kinda s-l-o-w here if you know what I mean ;)

I finally found a Wal*Mart out here with some new stuff! They skipped right over the 3rd run of Malibu Semi's (With the actually branded semi cabs), and now they have trucks with two tone schemes and some interesting designs. I bought 3.

I checked another Wal-Mart, the same thing: None.

That's ok I am going to the "center of the universe" in a few days, so they should have some there.:D

Has anyone seen the ads in the train mags for the "new" Norscot lowboys w/equipment & tractor for $14.98 ea.?

Larry

those do look very nice but I see one problem and I could never own one.
Those semi tractors are petes not Macks LOL
I guess those will be good for the "Westcoast" guys LOL

I think the lowboys look better behind a day cab. the sleeper cabs likely would be for guys running from the factory to the coustomer. out here its in the Windy city its rare to see a guy with a sleeper cab pulling a lowboy to job site.

here is my own low boy truck.

Larry, here's the set your mentioned earlier.

And here's my spare set. I have other construction equipment that I wanted the spare low-boys for.
