Huh, MotorMax says there's a 75' Bobcat, '74 Hornet, '71 Mustang, and coming soon, 70' Maverick & '82 Accord.

pa3de8, what in the world does your username mean?

It was the same name I used for just about everything else after I open my first Yahoo email account with it...
Of course everything I do railroad related is now "neparailfan"...

Wife wanted a few things at Wally World today so off I went to buy a couple of Bras and a pair of shoes. Don't know why I looked in the toy section as usually there never is anything there for HO. But what the heck I give it a go anyway. I guess I sort of passed by at first but went back for a second look at some yellow boxes. Cat dozers, excavator, front end loader. Construction Mini's, small enough, Norscot scale model, but no scale marked on them. $2.92 ea figured I couldn't lose so I took 4. 2 Cat 315C L Excavators; Cat D5G dozer; Cat 906 Wheeled Front Loader. While I was congratulating myself on my find I backed some more and couldn't believe my luck, there among the 1/72 stuff was a box of 1/87 Model Collection cars $2.42 ea. so I picked out six of them leaving the convertibles there as they're not too popular in this area due to the short warm season which seems to be getting longer now days. If I go to town and they're still there maybe I'll pick them up anyway with another dozer.
VW30 1937;Porsche 356A;Land Rover Sport; Jaguar E 1961; Shelby Cobra 1965 (Convertible but I liked the Cobra) ; Porsche 911Carrera S. I sure wish there had been some N American models but what the heck maybe when they see how fast the 1/87 sell compared to the rest, they'll wise up ( at least I'm Hoping they will)

Excellent haul Willis. I'm always amazed when I go to Wally World and think as I'm walking around the store: "Why should I even bother, it's just going to be the same old stuff", and then when I get there I'm usualy pleasantly suprised!
jbaako, I visited two of the 3 walmarts in my area over the weekend and I wasn't able to procure any Bobcats!!! But I will keep my eyes open for you guys and if I see them I'll pick them up and if you guys should get them in the mean time or don't want them anymore I'll just add them to mine.

HMMMM, I already have my brown and red Bobcats from Fresh Cherries. I had them for about a month now. I'm just waiting for NEW vehicles from all three companys now. ( Fresh Cherries, Reel Rides, and Malibu).

I went to my Wal-Mart today and noticed that HOT WHEELS has some NEW cars out. They look like H.O. scale, and are in a small blue box. They are packaged like Malibu cars. The two cars I saw were VW Bugs. I'm not 100% sure they are H.O., but they are smaller than normal hot wheels.

I've been emailing Mattel for about a year & a half about making 1/87th cars in the Hot Wheels or Matchbox line. Maybe they listened. I hope.

hey guys:
Yes those are 1/87 HOT WHEELS you saw ROCK, I,m glad to see they've made it to KENOSHA. There are 8 of them possibly in two different colors.
They are an 05 MUSTANG, FORD GT-X1, 49 MERC LEADSLED, twotone VW BUG, PORSCHE CAYMANS, FERRARI, BONE CRUSHER HOT ROD,and last but not least the SHELBY CONCEPT CAR. This means they are at least in COLORADO, NEW JERSEY,and now WINSCONSIN.
On another note guys there is also a black BOBCAT, and a white B0BCAT in FRESH CHERRIES, as well as other colors for the first releases. Also Idelivered some new photo equipment to a WALLY WORLD over the weekend and evidently WAL-MARTs will be resetting there toy dept's in a couple of weeks for the holidays and they have pallets of toys in there backroom that they can't put out until then, so all of our cars were waiting on are probably in the storeroom.

Well, there's no toys in my store's back room. I looked on my lunch.

Nice to know there's Hot Wheel's 1/87, maybe companies are realizing they can hit two markets at once. I'd love to see some pictures.

As for the Fresh Cherries, there SHOULD be 4 colors of 8 different vehicles, if their website is correct, and two coming soon.

Hot Wheels. Matchbox DID make them in the long away past though.

In my eye, the most popular one for model railroaders would be the Beetle, or the Mustang. Not much use for the Enzo unless you're modeling a very richly populated area, same with the Ford GT. The concept car, maybe, the two others are a wee bit more "custom".

Gotta wait until the Reel Rides one Doc... Thats going to be a nice day when I find them for the first time.
