Jbaakko, Nice Bobcat!!! Are GHQ models soft metal kits, or are they made of something else. I was thinking of getting one or two of those!!!

Larry. TRANS AMS in different colors???? Are you sure those are REEL RIDES, or MALIBU??? Malibu isn't supposed to release any cars that Reel Rides does, until Reel Rides retires them!!! I got the old VW, and that was a Malibu International. Do you have any way to post a shot of the Trans Ams???

My next purchase (tomorrow) at my Wal-Mart will be a Bobcat in brown, and the Pinto wagon in orange, both by Fresh Cherries.
 
Oh, and the only thing new I've seen lately are new numbers on the NASCAR stock cars made by Malibu. There is about 6 new numbers. The ones I really remember is the UPS car, and the M&M's car.
 
Yeah GHQ is soft metal, pewter to be exact.

Anyone notice Walthers will be stocking the fresh cherries? Looks like they'll be my source, lol.

New Nascar eh? UPS? Mhmmm I want.
 


In my search for a 1:87 scale Delorean, I've picked up several of the Malibu International cars from Walmart to attempt to kitbash them into a Delorean time machine. After ruining several, I've settled on the Lamborguini as being closest. As a result, I have a Porsche and Jaguar left over in new condition. Since I model 1885, they aren't exactly prototypical. Anybody have any interest in trading for some miscellaneous stuff, such as trackside junk, crates, barrels, etc that would fit 1885?

I bought 7-- 1972 Chevy pickups at a Walmart in Clewiston Florida wed. on the way home from Miami. Are all of them Black or is there different colors?
Also, are the Bobcats that you-all bought from WM or someplace else?
Exactly what are all the new vehicles that are out now at WM? I haven't been able to find any new stuff. I went in 5 WM's around Miami Dade County & they didn't have any of the new stuff. My store will never have anything new until we get rid of all of the old stuff. Since I was the only one buying the 1/87th vehicles.

Who got the newest edition of the Reel rides newsletter!?

We know you're all excited to find out what's in the next release. We have a slight change in timing with the cars expected to be on-shelf in early Fall. The cars come from the following action-packed movies:

* Casino
* Italian Job

Getting them by this Fall is a long way off & my store has never handled any.

If figures, just when I've spent several hours bashing a Lamborguini into a reasonable facsimile of Delorean.

In all honestly, can't wait to get a store bought one to bash into the 1880's BTTF III version. GUess Ill need two, one to hid in the Delgado Mine and one to push around the track.

I doubt it, we still have a ton of all the old cars & trucks & the toy dept. mgr. says we have to sell all of these before we can get any new ones.
I figure about 2010 we might get some.:mad:
 
I got the newsletter, too, and was a bit disappointed. NO STARSKY CAR!!!! The only one I MIGHT get so far would be the K.I.T.T car (Knight Rider's Trans Am).

What Cars were on Casino, and The Italian Job???
 
Someone sure needs to make late model pickup trucks that I can afford. Not 8 & 10 bucks each.

#00 Burger King Toyota
#99 Office Depot Ford
#2 Miller Dodge
#12 AllTel Dodge
#20 Home Depot Chevy

These are all the new '07 ones.

Scott, I've avoided #2 & #8 because they don't put the real logos on them due to them being alcoholic beverage companies. Are they the real logos on the new ones? I want that #00 alot.

So I got my first 3 Fresh Cherries, last 3 on the shelf here in Kingman AZ, kinda of glad I made the trip now. More about that in the coffee shop.

I've seen a few on eBay in the camo scheme and red/white/blue scheme that had the real logos. They were the Winner's Circle 1:87 cars, which is what I'm assuming you are referencing.

The Wally Worlds around here have nothing new either! :rolleyes:

No they aren't the ones with the real logos but the Wally World's up here do sell the Kmart's up here do sell them with the correct logos but they are in a different section and listed as "adult collectibles".
They don't ever seem to have all the cars though. I figure it doesn't really matter to me anyway if they have the right logo's. If I can find them with the right ones that's fine if not, so be it.
