Malibu was supposed to come out with trucks. I just posted the link cause they say they have 10 employee's

Just picked up three of the new Reel Rides from Wal-Mart.:D

These are
#1,HO scale for those that are wondering
#2,Diecast
#3 Very nicely done for the most part.I don't really like the Plymouth convertable which is why you don't see it here.

Stay tuned I have more pics of other vehicles to post.:D

*WOHO!* I went to get my wife from work at Wal*mart, and they had JUST stocked the Reel Rides today, in fact, there were 4 cases, and only ONE car missing. I bought one of each for $2.22 a piece. Though, I did get myself my minor 10% before tax discount... Very nice cars, going to add pics to Model Railroad Tips later today.

Groan! Sigh!:( Just what I need, more really cool vehicles I can't get.
My local Wally World doesn't carry the Fresh Cherries or the Reel Rides vehicles. They do have some very picked over Mailbus in 1/87th. There were a few JDs and Cats but there gone now...I did get a few of them while they had them.. ;) Those new Reel Rides look good.

In our store we don't have a toy dept. mgr. & there hasn't been anything put on the shelves in over 6 weeks. We have about 15 pallets of toys in our stock room & I imagine all of the new toys are mixed in those somewhere.
Guess I'll have to go thru all of them today & see if I can find the new vehicles.

Larry, you should "volunteer" some overtime to put them out. ;)

I dunno about the fresh cherries, I have not seen one yet, only the 1:72 ones.

Hey guys, Reel Rides sent me a news letter today. They are launching some forums on their site. They have about 5 categories so far. I signed up for it, its free. They have a forum about FAVORITE MOVIE CARS, and people can list their faves on there. Reel Rides will most likely read the posts, so can get ideas for future sets.

They also mentioned that they are WORKING HARD on the secont series!!!! Join their site, that way, you'll be notified early about new releases. I did.

I just got some more today. Two Firebirds, two C10 pickups, a GTO Judge and a Plymouth GTX. A light spray with Matte-Finish to kill the over-glossy shine and they look great.

I went back to the start of this thread & it took me over 2 hrs. to read all of the post's. That was 2002. Some of the stuff is real funny. I'm a fast reader & it still took a long time. It's great to see so many people into these vehicles & it shows what we can do to help each other to find them.
There's more to come in the next year or so. I still haven't found any Reel Wheels at my store, but, I know someday they will pop up when I least expect it. I counted my semi truck collection today & I now have 145 sets and 50 semi tractors by themselves. I will always buy others, although I really don't need anything else. That won't stop because there's always new stuff coming out that I've got to have. LOL
People that visit my layout say that I have way to many vehicles on my roads & not enough people. Well, guess I'll have to start painting some more people to fill up the sidewalks & buildings.

Just got back from my local Wal-Mart, and here is what they have in stock still.

Reel Rides: They had 1 pick-up, 1 GTX, 1 Trans Am, and about 15 Porsches. The GTO's were gone, and I bought the last Trans Am!!!!

Fresh Cherries: 2 left, both Escorts, 1 of each color.

Malibu International: A lot of EVERYTHING!!! Single cars, Cars with campers, 5-packs, semi's, and race cars. Each series had a lot left.

Hopefully, Malibu is selling better elswhere. I suppose that once you get what you want, you don't buy anymore. I hope Malibu don't stop due to lack of sales!!! I STILL may pick up a few more '69 Camaro's and paint them into schemes Malibu dosen't cover!!

Thats all the news I have------For now.

I have to agree! Since this thread started I've found more 1/87th vehicles in Walmart, a place I would have NEVER looked for them before. I never knew about half these companies until some started this thread.
Now I find out they has these Reel Rides! I have to go looking now!

pa3de8,

In my experience, it would be best to check this thread often. The REEL RIDES have been out for a couple of weeks now, and all the good cars are probably gone. It is best if you go out looking as soon as someone on here posts about new releases. These H.O. cars seem to go fast. I am a member at REEL RIDES site, so I will give a heads up on this thread when REEL RIDES informes me of new products. BUT, keep looking on here, you'll know when we know!!! Good luck with finding the first reel rides set!!!
