    It is nice quality compared to my Bachmann engine but will need more work. I have the feeling that the bids will rise significantly in the last minute.

    Thanks Dave , I’ve tried building on just about everything and it all works as I tend to make my landscape as none flat as possible where possible and with the styrofoam base I will simply use scenery and ground goop to model it in with other structures.

    I would think laying rail on strictly wood would be more work than with cork or foam road bed unless every inch of wood you were laying track on was pristine condition.
