    Athearn Ethanol tankers

    Not the best pic or lighting, but this is coming off a siding on to the main, my longest straight. There are 7 of the TILX and 3 of the NATX. The TILX cars are what the DME/ICE run through my area a lot.

    I just picked up 10 of the new Athearn N scale 30K Ethanol Tank cars. They are very nice, ride smooth on my code 55 with some nice details. I'm so glad I waited for these to be released.

    N scale bridge question

    I want to make my own plate girder bridge in n scale, can someone suggest a good place for buying the girder side plates? or is making them out of styrene a better way to go. My first guess was to cut up an atlas for the sides?

    I Binged that line, and if I stayed on the right set of tracks, Fairmont, MN looks to have an ethanol plant. That looks really cool, and should be lots of fun for you. I have an ICE Jackson unit in the making ;)
