I saw a guy on you tube - he ran dried leaves through a blender - sifted & such afterwards :-)

This is the white Elmer's glue, dries evenly, firmly & clear.
Works for me :-)

I have tested a few things on this too, personally I like white Elmer's glue the best. :-)

DairyStateDad : Have you tried the razor knife yet ? :-)

I have very roughly laid the track to get a brief idea of what I have going on :-)
After removing all the track - I am now going to proceed with the PL 300. I carefully marked each piece with marker so I can place it right back in its spot more easily. Everything seems to be going smoothly so...

Do not use the orange style - the handles aren't very strong. 1/2" foam board - one swipe & 3/4 & above, 2 or more swipes to get a clean cut. I have been doing a 1/2 starter swipe & go from there. Seems to work fine.

Yeah - the razor knife works pretty good :-). I don't sweat the perfection too much on the straight lines - a steady hand & you can be within an 1/8". It mostly get covered or shaped on the edges anyways :-). I will mainly worry most about straightness - when I lay the roadbed/track. I think the...

Thank you,
I am using 2" T pins to temporarily hold it. For the cutting I am using a small DeWalt razor knife. 1/2 way through on first swipe & all the way through on 2nd.

Things are going good - I ended up using foam board to widen my risers & I have them all cut - next step PL300. Foam to foam - the stuff holds like super glue :-). Once again - this is my first layout & I may not be doing it "by book" Lol, but it seems to be working for me. :-)
Hope you guys...

No - its fine - doing tests for what suits me best :-).

Ok - the construction adhesive is a bit too much for the foam. Back to the Loctite PL 300.

I have used this to adhere a test piece - we'll see what happens. :-) I guess my main concern is warpage with the wood, but if it is all secure & really - I am in a climate controlled area - I shouldn't be worried about that. You are right about the DAP - I don't need it, just curious :-). I...

Looks good Dairystatedad. :-) ok guys - I will probably go with the ply wood onto risers - do you think standard liquid nails construction adhesive will be ok ? I ask because I already have alot on hand. :-). The Dap - does it set hard - or semi soft ?

Not trying to sound naive, but do you mean - use that instead of the plywood ?
It would be easier & I wouldn't have to worry about it warping.
