Not happy with the boxcars I've weathered the last couple of weeks, so scrubbed 'em down and consigned 'em to the w-i-p shelf. Time to shift focus to the actual layout itself.
Late check-in, but we're here. It's 63 and partly cloudy. Winds are relatively calm SSW @ 4mph with an occasional gust to 15. High this afternoon 80 with a low tonight of 46. Possibility of breaking another record high. "A record high of 80" sounds weird to a life long Texan... Anyway, showers...
Second 24"x 48" benchwork module assembled. Plans are to add 2 more modules when I've made substantial progress with the first two, i.e., placement of basic structures and track work.
Good mornin' crew. It's currently 35 and clear with plenty of sunshine (read sunscreen) in Cheyenne this AM. Winds are calm with an occasional gust to to 7mph. Rare day in southeast Wyoming! Looking for a high of 79 this afternoon and a low tonight of 45. Zero chance of precipitation. Warm with...

Two new Accurail boxcars on the workbench...
I haven't figured out why they look so "greasy" and splotchy. They're actually are a lot dustier and faded looking on the bench. I think the iPhone AI photo processor is messing with the images. hmmm...
Good mornin' crew. It's mostly cloudy and 45 in Cheyenne this AM. Winds are W @ 17 gusting to 19 with higher winds gusting to 45+ later today. Expecting a high of 66 this afternoon and a low tonight of 39 with a 25% chance of precipitation. This afternoon will be mild with clouds and sun; breezy...
Assembled the first 24"x 48" Sievers benchwork module today. Took about an hour or so. Very happy with all aspects of it. Quality materials, all the hardware required, and good instructions. It's on 48" legs so with the 2" foam, layout height will be 50".
