    First layout questions

Hey everyone, Stein I tweeked your idea a little and came up with this. I think this gives me room for the yard I want to put in while also having room for some nice landscapes and a continuous running train. -Isaac

    First layout questions

Hi, I cannot move the layout somewhere else, however I can change the dimensions of the table. Perhaps make it skinnier in the 5x6 nook and have it get wider as the room does. I am looking for a mix of both point-to-point and running continuously. I'm not sure what Grades are, sorry (still...

    First layout questions

This is the space I'm using. The Layout comes out of a little 6'x5' nook and into wider space. The tables are a 4'x8' connected to a 6'x2' forming a 4'x10' with a 2'x2' square of workbench/possible layout. -Isaac :)

    Track Brand

Hi, I am planning on building my first layout and was wondering about what kind of track I should use. I have a little bit of Bachmann E-Z Track but not enough for what I want to do. Should I get more E-Z Track? I have also heard of Atlas Track. Is Atlas a better choice and would I have to wire...

    New Model Railroader

Hey, I just got interested in model trains and decided to create my own layout. I already have a train, some track, and am in the process of building a table. My question is: What's a good place to start on a layout?
