    Yes, there ARE ways to cut costs So what if product sits on the shelf awhile!?!?! It means something someone really wants will still be there 6 mos to a year later!! Eventually, longer production runs will lower tooling costs, and just maybe - prices may just come down!!

    I do agree with that!! I have a UP mainline with a siding 1/2 mile from my house! :) I constantly get to see rolling stock in many degrees of weathering, parked! Thanx for the link, that's a great resource! :D

    Just took my first look. Holy crap! Very nicely done sir! :) I tried overlaying a new scale over an existing layout. Unfortunately, I got confused, and did it so many times, that I lost friends! I was starting to lose interest too! :( I stepped back, really thought about it, what scale worked...

    Milling a frame with a Dremel? Doable?

    That is exactly what I did to my Kato GP35 frame!! Cut it with a Dremel. Pretty easy! (see att. Pic) Carmine, modeling the HO Scale Pacific Belt RR since 1975!
