Stall and then pick up power so it looks like reverse unit does not work not sure why I have used 2 units to test but it is the same for both. The auto reverse units are both PSX-AR

reason for new track was so I could operate trains going up the Helix from either direction of the outer loop. In the old plan I could only go up Helix coming from the bottom and using t crossover

this is from the Walthers instructions for Model: 933-2849
"INSTALLING THE PIT
Your new turntable automatically reverses track
polarity when turned. As a result, the unit has two
electrically insulated areas where the track on the
bridge is not powered."
Thus no reverse module is required...

As no local help is available I would recommend sending the loco to one of the dealers listed on the SPROG site (link above) and see if they can help.

I have found using SPROG 3 and JMRI I can reset all types of decoders. I would try that and see if it works, you can always take it to a friend/club who may have SPROG & JMRI.

Here is a video of an Indian Railway's WDM2 Jumbo class diesel. Based upon the Alco DL560C locomotive it was converted from a standard long/short hood to a cab forward design. Here it is operating in the Bombay yard on my layout.
