    Older Athearn to DCC conversion

    @Iron Horseman is correct! I used electrical tape on the frame to isolate the bottom motor contact. I recommend two layers of tape. Adding the decoder is not too difficult. I would hardwire the connections on top of the trucks (and the lights) and remove the metal contact rail so it is more...

    Running Bear's February 2022 Coffee Shop

    Bremen....Bethlehem Walk! @santafewillie, $3.01 per gallon? Wow! Yesterday, in Niles Michigan, it was $3.29 per gallon. :( Also "enjoyed" shoveling and clearing the driveway 2x yesterday (about 13") and once this morning already. :rolleyes:🥶
