Forum,
I am satisfied with all of the track and wiring on my layout and am ready to airbrush the track. I have already installed Caboose Industries switch throws though. Can these be painted or should they be masked and left black? Thanks,

Thanks! I was just wondering how they attach before I order them.

I read the whole thread ad examined the photos but couldn't gain any information on conecting the throw to an Atlas turnout. Could you explain what I'm missing.

I'm using Atlas code 100 #4 turnouts for my layout. How would you suggest attaching a Caboose industries throw? I know they sell a version that has attachments. Does one of those fit or is a home-made device better for joining the two? Thanks!

To answer your question the locomotive coming from staging will do no switching. A yard switcher will work the yard and a separate loco will switch the industries. The branch off the the left will make sense. It goes to serve a steel mill. The area in the bottom left will contain many...

Kurt,
I have models from both lines and I believe that the main difference is Blueline locos are sound equipped and DCC ready while Paragon2 locos have sound and already have DCC. There might also be a few differences in the quality of sound and/or detail but to my untrained eyes/ears I don't...

Hi,
My dad and I are building a large layout and currently have a small section of it connected to a NCE Powercab system. We are looking to purchase power boosters and expand the operable territory in the near future. In order to gauge how many boosters we would need, we wanted to run a test...

Hi,
On my railroad I will have a penninsula with a creek running across it. On one of the bridges which is about 4 inches long and single track I will have an Atlas number 4 turnout. I know that this isn't the best location for a turnout but the turnout can't be moved at all in either...

I live in Pennsylvania and we have temperatures well into the 80's during the summer and will have a high of 2 degrees on one day this week. With this change in temperature I've noticed that on the HO railroad I'm building with my dad a few sections of track will expand/contract during certain...
