I'm working on weathering my Great Northern covered hopper's from Bachmann (https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/Bac...al-4-Bay-Covered-Grain-Hopper-Great-Northern/)
I would like to renumber the other 3 before I weather them and that is my question. What is a prototypical number for them?
They are listed as Bachmann Silver Series HO 19111 Cylindrical 4-Bay Covered Grain Hopper, Great Northern.
Looking at http://www.greatnorthernempire.net/index2.htm?GNECoveredHoppers.htm I would assume that I would want one of the following number ranges.
171100-171149
or
171700-171999.
As this is a low detail Bachmann I'm not looking to be 100% prototypical but like to where I can.
