I am still working on painting the containers (CMA CGM / China Shipping) for this one…
But it’s 99% done..maybe some more top sill grime and scratches

Thanks…👍🏻

Ok this car was faded with dilute Tamiya White heavily thinned with XF-20A…
Sealed with Tamiya XF-86 Clear Flat…
W+N Raw Umber oil wash…
Micron Pen ( brown and sepia ) rust spots…
Tamiya grime mix airbrushed to wheels, trucks, bottom of car, bed, couplers, here and there…
Sealed again with Tamiya XF-86…

Probably took 90 minutes if I had a timer running…

They look like the real thing.

I notice the right hand fronts on most are dirtiest from the diesel exhaust
Another weathering feature that I see on intermodal trailers quite often around here is twin vertical streaks spaced about 4'8" apart, mainly on the rear from grime splashed up through the voids in the container cars by the freight car wheels. It's not so prominent on this one but it's there.

Thanks for the info… I notice shipping containers a lot on the roads here…
Really just looking eye level at the sides and not up tho..!
