Just joined. am the son of an SP guy. He started out in the mail car and was the district freight agent when he passed. He was my dad. As kids, we made some runs out of Houston with him, i remember that as some of my best sleeping and the food was great. When I joined the Navy, they sent us to San Diego on the train (3 day trip). bottom line, I feel the connection, want to model in N scale to get the most bang for my buck, Have been lurking for about one year and after thanksgiving will stake my clain to the living room and dining area. wish me luck.
