Tried Tamiya TS-80 clear flat as a starting point for the Athearn gondola..
It works well as a dull coat…but beyond that I will see

It’s dry already, the Turpenoid seems help the drying process…

Maybe a couple of hours…depends how thick the remnant of oil paint is after the big flat brush wipes it…

As well, there is some FUTURE lightly airbrushed over to eliminate some chalky white areas ( the 2 panels to the left of the S were pretty white )

Time lapse - sort of from lunch when I started this…

Some more work this AM…
Interior airbrushed with 2 already made mixes of Tamiya Hull Red / Yellow + Hull Red / Orange
Vallejo German Dark Brown brushed on the gondola lip edge
Tamiya XF-86 Clear Flat to seal the stuff painted on the gondola sides so far..
