Hello,

I am planning to built a trestle 1400 scale feet long and 160 scale feet high. Can anyone recommend a store where to get the scale lumber in a big lot.
I know northeastern scale lumber which I purchased several years ago in Switzerland in 22" pieces. By now it seems to be too expencieve to buy it there. Others don`t have it in this lenght.
I have heard from Mount Albert scale lumber but I do not know it.

Thanks for every hint,
Oblong.

Have you tried ordering directly from Northeastern? Several friends used to attend the big show in the eastern US every year, and they would often drop into the Northeastern plant and pcik up large quanitites of lumber from them, sometimes "seconds" that seemed to be perfectly fine. One guy resold his stuff, and I bought a bundle of the 22" stuff from him many years ago, still have quite a bit on hand.
