Poll (linked): Modern Freight Car List wishlist

Been Nothin' Since Frisco
Spreading the word from the Modern Freight Car List (a discussion group on Yahoo! Groups)...

OK, the What Freightcars Are Needed Next Poll is now OPEN for voting.

The URL for the poll is: MFCL Poll

The URL for the full list of nominated cars with on-line photo links
is: Photo Links Page

The nominated cars are listed in the Poll by era and by car type in
the same order as in the photo list. However the Poll does **NOT**
include the photo links, so consult the photo list to decide what
cars you want to vote for BEFORE voting as you can NOT change your
vote once it has been submitted.

You may submit only ONE completed Poll, but the Poll allows you to
cast three weighted votes for EACH car type in EACH era that you are
interested in. Your 1st choice vote is worth 3 points, your 2nd
choice is worth 2 points, your 3rd choice is worth 1 point. You can
cast two or all three votes for the same car if you like. If you are
not interested in a particular era or car type you need not vote for
any choice. You can vote in as few or as many categories and eras as
you are interested in.

Voting will remain open through Friday, June 24 to allow ample time
for everyone to peruse the list and linked photos and decide on what
cars you want to vote for.

Results will be posted and be made available to any interested model
manufacturer.

The Poll was compiled from cars that were nominated by members of the
Modern Freight Cars List at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MFCL/?yguid=27992.

Thanks to Jason Annen for volunteering to facilitate the Poll and host it.

Let the voting begin!

If anyone is unclear as to the type of car described on the poll, consult the photo links page. You just might find a car you're interested in. This is your chance to sound off to the manufacturers on what you'd like to see, so once you've picked your favorites, vote!
