Recently our older granddaughter brought part of garden railway to our house. She has an American themed layout where she lives. Her locomotives are battery powered; ideal for outside running.

Here she is in my train room.

That's a nice looking layout, I like all of the brick buildings. It's good to see kids interested in model railroading, it seems like too many these days are interested in their phones and nothing else.

I may be misunderstanding the purpose of this thread but I’ll try to contribute.

It’s a seasonal brew which I get every year. I always have more than “one a day “ so I hope my post isn’t inappropriate.

Sorry folks. I’ll stay out of your thread now 😂
No need to be sorry, I deal with comedians every day of the week (I work for the county)

Generally speaking, it is model railroad photos I would like to promote.

Thanks, Dave

Paul, you have great taste in beer! Not so much in comedy 😁 I just teasing you!

If you buy it cold and keep it refrigerated Marzen beer can stay fresh for up to eight months. You can buy it warm, but you never know how long it has been sitting. Storing it in a cool dark place, the beer will only last three to four months before the taste diminishes.

Did you know Marzen beer is lagered for six months or more? Most Marzen brews begin in March or early April.

Sorry LASM for taking the thread down a "sidetrack" beer is one of my favorite subjects. And beer has a great history with the railroads!

I love the photos! I didn't love hearing about your health issues. Take good care of yourself, you are important to all of us.

The mild stroke happened a few years ago; before I joined here. I just had to adapt and live with it. The annoying thing is not being able to do things like I used to. The arthritis is just old age. Using my left hand most of the time doesn't help.

The best thing is the grandchildren love this layout because there is more for them to do. It is not 'perfect' but they do not care.
