Looks like lilshane just wanted that CN engine like it was his last hope for life by the bidding. 
Some guys just get their mind set on wanting something and will pay whatever it takes.
OTOH, I was bidding yesterday on a NIB BLI Southern E-7A with DCC and QSI sound plus a dummy E-6B. The bid was $77 with two hours to go. These things run about $225 list and aren't available from BLI. There hadn't been a bid for three hours so I thought, what the heck, and bid $125. The bid then moved to $91 and I assumed that some sniper would come in and just top my bid. I watched it for two hours. Nothing. Nada. Not a single more bid, so I got the pair for $91 plus $8 shipping. It seems like people are just asleep on some offerings and can't bid high enough on others and there's no relation to the value of the item, except to the individual.
