Having operated coal trains for a coal fired plant I can relate to his story.
The writing was on the wall when the electric utility company bought the gas company in anticipation of converting, that’s when I pulled the pin.
Funny thing is the article mentioned persistently low natural gas prices south of the border meanwhile the drain north of the border is giving us persistently higher prices.
The plant I was at is now closing because they can’t afford their own gas prices!
And I always thought irony was poking yourself in the eye while putting on your safety glasses.
