compartment organizer

Not looking to hijack the thread, Greg, yes I have three of those large organizers for wheels, trucks, couplers, screws, pieces & parts. Ha ha, agreed, when that sucker is full and you have the lid open, you need a stable place to put it, for sure, don't let it hit the floor.... I took a piece of bailing wire, (yes people, actual baling wire) and made a rod that will hold the lid open in the vertical position, which helps keep it stable.
For you newer guys, just starting out, get some kind of organizer(s), to keep all those small bits & pieces, well worth it!

I'm on my second bulk pack of 100 InterMountain wheels and I've only had one wheelset with an issue. It wasn't a bent axle, one wheel didn't have any taper on it. Very odd.

Other than that I'm very happy with them.

Did you get the metal axles or plastic axels? Are these still sent/packaged in bags?

Metal axles. Bags of 10(?) in a cardboard box.
