Two more days of anticipation for you
Coincidentally today I cycled near to the childhood home of Sir Nigel Gresley where this plaque is on the wall.Just purchased this LNER 2-8-2 Prince of Wales P2. Should be here Saturday.
That is really cool looking!Meant to post this on Monday.
Hornbys LNER Prince of Wales 2-8-2 (P2)
The wheel gauge is way out, so it shorts and stops at every turnout, BUT that may be intentional as it is 2-8-2, (2-8-0 really as the rear truck floats above the rail) and the front truck derails on turnouts and curves, it's not sprung-loaded so I'll see what some added weight on the truck does, apart from that it's great, it looks amazing and runs really well. That is really cool looking!
How does it run?

Are you certain it is gauged for HO rather than OO? The loco and track are are both Hornby. So I'll have to remove the keeper plate and check the wheels B2B.Are you certain it is gauged for HO rather than OO? I understand there is a tiny difference.
