Greetings from Tampa FL
New to the board here and trying to place a foot into the water of model railroading. My new interest is two fold. First my wife wants a Christmas/winter scene as part of the household decorations and I refuse to do the $30 Wally World choo choo around the Christmas tree thing. The other is my 6 year old son has expressed some mild interest in anything that runs on tracks in real life size. Even if my son’s interest doesn’t mature I love all things mechanical that are miniatures of real life.
I’ll post separately my initial questions that revolve around gauge, ready to run kits and the layout dimensions I have available.
