Hello from Germany

Hello to all,
My name is Matthias an I am living in the area of Köln - Aachen in West- Germany. After bulding a layout with a typical Deutsche Bundesbahn theme I started a really small layout with an US railroad theme. Basic is a Time Saver to have some switching fun. The dimension of the layout is 2.5m x0.5m (1.6' x 8.2'). The scale is H0.
I have to learn a lot and hope to get some ideas here.

From the pictures it looks like you are pretty far along already, at least on your European-themed layout. I especially like that "Fast Loans" set of storefronts in your US album - is that from a Downtown Deco kit?

Thanks Ken. Yes, this is a Dowtown Deco Kit. It is the part one of the Addams Ave. (DD1000). Randy also made a fantastic how to build thread in this forum.
