I’m Syd and I’m from Auburn NY and involved with the Cayuga Valley Model RR club but got my first train set probably about at the age of 8 or so for Christmas. I have plenty of vintage cars and engines and a small 4x8’ at home just to be able to run something at home and just learning about dcc. Look forward to h aging fun here. The Auburn Central was my Grandfather’s RR. He had bought it from someone over 50 years ago and it was old then

Glad to have you on board. You didn't say what size your trains are, but Mr. Chopped Liver is one of our resident Lionel experts. I am more an HO sort of fellow. My note on DCC - don't make it harder than it has to be!
