Can anyone tell me what the screw size that will screw into the brass “ferules” that hold the trucks on inside these passenger cars? Am installing some DCC lighting and am going to orient the wheelsets to pick up left rail from one wheelset, right from the other. Also looking for a “drop in” brush to pick up from the axles. Can fab from brass, but if’n it’s already available…

Hi It is a mm-type thread, either 1.5 or 2mm if I recall. I have a bunch of these cars on my layout and had to repair a lot of them. I am not at home, so I cannot check, but you might drop a line to Bryan at SBS4DCC. He is a great source, and has the pick up materials also.
