Purchased this for $1 at an estate sale. I told the seller it was worth more, but he said all structures were listed as $1. Handwritten underneath was 1972. For now, it sits on top of my locomotive display case. The structure is lighted and has a figure that moves inside visible through the door. I felt bad but he insisted $1. What part of the layout that hadn't been dismantled yet was a real work of art.

Any idea if its scratch built, or was it in kit form?

For a $1.00 a building, you should of picked up everyone he had if they looked like this one. :D
