FWIW I LOVE the hinges. Great choice. We see them all the time around here, even today, usually painted black for wood fence gates. Not sure about dimensions, but I'm sure I could toss you a photo or two if you want them.
In your case, I imagine rust will be your chosen color.
Thank you! I will paint them to look galvanized with a little rust showing at the hinge joint and nails. I want the barn to look as though it is about 5 years old, so there shouldn't be a lot of weathering and rust.
I finished my wife's Grandfather's barn today. I tried to weather the barn as if it were only about 5 years old. The real barn was never painted and it is sheathed with southern yellow pine. Here are a few photos. Thank You!

Thank You! I don't have anything in the works right now. I need to add about a foot to one end of the layout to have a place for the barn, but I need to heal from back surgery before I can tackle that though. Thanks again!
