In your initial post, you indicated many thousands of dollars of very valuable Athearn blue box stuff with no specific details of anything.
Can you give some details plz.

I think I stated I have thousands of $$$ in Kato Unitrack. I have 40 or 50 Blue Box freight cars with ;
I have 52 used HO rolling stock units. They are mostly Athearn Blue Box. They are upgraded with the following; Intermountain metal wheel sets (there are none better IMHO), Kadee metal whisker couplers (there are none better IMHO) The couplers are all at correct height measured by Kadee coupler height gauge. The weights on the bottom are all sanded and painted black. All cars are within grams of NMRA weight standards. All trucks have Phillips head screws securing them. Much easier to work with in the unlikely event of a failure ;D There $7.00 worth of upgrades per car.

BLI Paragon3, 4-8-4 Beast NYC type (unlettered) Runs great, looks great, sounds great and pulls a ton. The only imperfection I can see is a loose hand rail on the engineers side of cab. I purchased this new and only ran it 30 minutes, Just to check it out and put back in the box. It did pull a 24 car coal drag no sweat. BLI steamers have a great rep for pulling power. I’m asking $300.00 with free shipping. I will entertain reasonable offers.

He is straight up a good guy to work with. I gave a couple locos a good home. Larry, I know the med bill all too well. Just wait til they start double billing cause they have no records.

Obviously I have mixed up pics with blurbs. I will take $250 for the 4-8-4 with free shipping and $100 with free shipping for any of the DCC locos in the P2K pics. They are DDC equipped but no sound. I do have many more DCC Sound locos to get rid of.

what is in the red box? Is it a brass piece? Any other sd40-2's

No brass. Erie 2-10-2 Proto 2000 with LL8 decoder. Bachman DCC sound DL&W SD70a. Erie 130 Proto 2000 0-8-0 DCC fitted. EL Atlas red box UC 36's all DCC fitted. I think that's all red box. The Heritage steamers detail is fine as brass. IMHO They do have some issues, mainly not very strong pullers IMHO? Negative on SD40-2

I have about $7,000 worth of Kato Unitrack. About $15,000 worth of motive power, Maybe $4 or 5 K in rolling stock. NCE Power Cab with SB5 booster, (making the throttle a Pro Cab). An NCE twin set up. And lots of tools and spare parts. The locos range from $600 to $12. The rolling stock is mostly Upgraded Athearn Blue box. I do have several more detailed (Read costly) cars.
